What if the entire world of One Piece is just a dream?

In One Piece Film: Red, Vegapunk mentions that Devil Fruit users live in alternate realities, ones imagined by someone else. This made me wonder—what if the whole One Piece world is actually a dream, and Devil Fruits allow people to shape that dream in different ways?

Now here’s the mind-bending part: what if the “Will of D” actually stands for the “Will of Dreams”? This idea hit me when I started thinking about Madara’s plan in Naruto to put the entire world in a dream-like state. What if One Piece is similar, and everyone is living in an imaginary world? If that’s true, there must be a way out, right? Maybe those with the “D” initial are the key to waking everyone up from this dream world.

Imagine if Luffy and the other “D” carriers are actually connected to some outside force, like dreamers who can bend reality to their liking within the One Piece world. They could be the ones who have the power to wake everyone up and reveal the truth.
